Covington, Oct 30 - Arthur C. DeHaven, 96, formerly of Covington died at the home of his son, Dr. Samuel DeHaven, Gary Friday morning. He was born near Covington and married Elizabeth Jane Simpson who preceded him in death. Mr. DeHaven was a farmer before moving to Covington where he served on the city police force. Surviving are three sons: Samuel, Gary; Elver, San Francisco, Cal and George, Louise, Texas and a daughter, Mrs. Grace Boggs, Sarasota, Florida. The body was taken to the Crumley Funeral Home, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday; burial in the Prescott Cemetery.
